Abstract
In this talk, I will introduce key concepts that are essential to understand when conducting research, as well as how to identify credible sources of reference. Next, I will discuss specific research directions within the field of speech processing, explaining how we narrowed down our focus to a particular topic. Finally, I will provide a direct example of our research in the area of speech assessment (a subfield of speech processing), detailing how we improved our model's performance and applied these ideas to enhance various applications in speech processing.
