Abstract
Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems have gained a lot of attention in recent studies. It not only has a high information transfer rate but also provides a hand- and voice-free input modality to interact with AR/VR/XR portable devices. In this talk, I will review recent BCI applications on AR/VR/XR platforms. For instance, how to apply a BCI system on brain-typing, gaming, and disease monitoring in a real-life environment. Furthermore, I will share the mechanical design of EEG electrodes that are capable of penetrating hair layers for naive users without any help from skilled technicians, which might provide an alternative way to measure bio-signal for daily applications.
