【Important Announcement】Embracing a New Era of Library Services Across the Institution
Dear all,
Our current library system has served the institution faithfully for over 20 years. However, with the rapid evolution of information technology and increasingly diverse and immediate research demands, it has become clear that we need a more modern, responsive solution.
To enhance service quality, bolster information security, and better integrate our physical and electronic resources, libraries across our institution are transitioning to a next-generation, cloud-based library system. This significant upgrade will introduce a new information organization model, streamline workflows, and elevate your user experience.
We recognize that such a system-wide change is a significant undertaking, involving not only technical upgrades but also adjustments to long-standing service processes. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience as we embark on this important transformation.

【System Migration Timeline & Key Reminders】
Effective immediately, please note the following:
- Existing reservation queues will not be carried over. If your reserved item has not been picked up before the transition, please resubmit your request once the new system is live.
- Loan services for newly acquired items will be temporarily suspended. Items currently on shelves remain available for borrowing.
July 1, 2025 (Tuesday)
Online reservation and renewal services will be suspended.
August 1, 2025 (Friday) at 6:00 PM
- The library catalog will be available in search-only mode. All borrowing and returning services will be suspended.
- Returned items during this period will be manually processed at the circulation desk and updated in the new system once it is live.
Loan Period Adjustment
For any borrowed items with an original due date between July 1 and August 31, 2025, the due date will be extended to October 31, 2025. Please feel free to borrow with peace of mind.
