Abstract
(This seminar will be co-presented by Ge-Wei Lin and Mitch Lin from 啃破紙音樂製作社.)
As the connection between academic research and industry applications of artificial intelligence (AI) technology approaches, it is crucial to foster discussions between academia and industry to enhance aesthetic experiences across auditory scenes. This seminar will examine the unique characteristics of Taiwan's music industry and explore the interactions between auditory experiences and the multimedia field. We will identify key technological touchpoints within professional music industry workflows and seek opportunities for collaboration between academia and industry within the auditory domain. By promoting dialogue between academic and industrial sectors, we aim to lower the barriers to music creation, enhance public understanding and appreciation of music, and ultimately elevate the value of the music industry.
